Steve Krause - President

Steve Krause founded Limelight Web Development in 2003 with the mission of bringing enterprise web technologies to small and medium-sized organizations. To achieve this mission, Limelight Web Development developed a robust, integrated content management/e-commerce management platform that provides customers with easy website management, while enabling rapid and seamless implementations for both new and existing websites.

Before founding Limelight Web Development, Steve Krause was the Chief Technology Officer at TEAMTalk, responsible for management and growth of the technology team. There he successfully delivered a high-availability, multi-lingual, content management system (1Touch Publishing System) that enabled a worldwide network of writers and news feeds to contribute to the production of sports websites such as InternetSoccer.com, WomensSoccer.com, CollegeSoccer.com, NSCAA.com, USYSA.org, TheAtlantaBeat.com, and WashingtonFreedom.com.

Prior to his service at TEAMTalk, Steve led technology initiatives at various start-up, medium-sized, and Fortune 100 companies. These projects included solutions in such industries as logistics, consumer packaged goods, and financial services.

Steve, a graduate of Davidson College, began his career as a software developer for Metasys, which later merged with Optum, a leading supply chain software company. Following his work at Optum, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a managing consultant on a large Fortune 100 e-business implementation.
